A new article has been posted to the article competition page. AIF designee Brian Lakkides of Corporate Plan Administrators in Waterford, MI, authored this article on how fiduciary controls can help charitable organizations reduce waste and avoid Madoff-like scandals.
The article, which Brian published in his newsletter, references and provides comments on the Practices that would have precluded a fiduciary using a sound due diligence process from making an investment with Madoff. Make sure you submit your feedback on this and other articles in the competition, either to resources@fi360.com or in the comments section below.
This year's submission period for the article competition has ended. All of the currently listed articles are eligible for the $1,000 prize to be awarded at the 2009 fi360 Conference. We encourage you to read and submit your feedback on all of the articles.
